HEWN is a group of writers dedicated to the promotion and marketing of historical novels either set in Europe or with European characters in America.

Members of HEWN have a love for history, the written word . . . and those books that combine the two with the flavor unique to European settings. Having grown up on authors like Jane Austen and the Brontës, they've extended their love for the genre to their own work.

From the British Regency books by member Linore Rose Burkard to the French Huguenot stories by member Golden Keyes Parson, HEWN writers represent diversity . . . with a common thread of passion for the historical tapestry of Europe. Some draw on their own family histories, others from their extensive research into a favorite period--all bring to life an era gone by with talent and love.
